Translation of Mind Treasures at Ripa Ladrang

Translation of Mind Treasures at Ripa Ladrang

Ripa Ladrang Foundation has undertaken to translate into English the mind-treasures of H.E. Namkha Drimed Rinpoche.

In a previous life, H.E. Namkha Drimed Rinpoche lived in India as the mahasiddha Hungkara.  In Tibet, he lived as Namkhai Nyingpo, one of the Twenty-Five Disciples. In this life, at age thirteen, he met Guru Rinpoche in a vision and afterward, he had several encounters with Gesar and his retinue. As a result, treasure transmissions began to arise in his mindstream. The Ripa Lineage has its historical roots with the 17th century master Ripa Pema Deje Rolpa. bio

Currently, this treasure cycle consists of twenty-three volumes mostly focused on a Gesar cycle of teachings, Guru Rinpoche, Vajrasattva, Dorje Drollo and others. The translators include Gregory Bouchard (primary translator), Mike Dyckman (review translator) and Lama Tenzin (providing assistance with clarification).

$100,000 is the estimated cost for this worthy project. Donations can be processed on their website

Also, at their center in Switzerland, Ripa Ladrang sponsors many well-known teachers such as Matthieu Ricard, Alan Wallace, and Charles Genous. See current events.
