It's not biolgocially-based. It's Samatabhadra (awareness) and Samantabhadri (emptiness) inseparable. When this is realized, thinking is itself self-arising wisdom (rang jung yeshe).
So there is no opposite to thinking because when the nature of thinking is realized, thinking itself is yeshe.
So says the view of Great Perfection. Other yanas have something different to say about this.
