The Tsogyal Center

The Tsogyal Center

Through study, we understand the Dharma.
Through study, we turn away from negativity.
Through study, we abandon pointless pursuits.
Through study, nirvana is attained.
— From the sutras

The Tsogyal Center for Learning, Wisdom, and Connectedness in the Vajrayana tradition is the online platform of Jnanasukha Foundation’s Joyful Lotus Grove of Scripture & Realization, inaugurated by Repkong Lama Tsedrup Tharchin Rinpoche in 2010.

Online or offline, Dharma begins as a rethinking of ideas and notions—which is why education is important. In Vajrayana, the highest wisdom arises through scriptural learning and personal realization, i.e., through education and practice. For the Nyingma, they are equally important. In Tibet, the plan was to attend a Dharma college for five years and then to practice in retreat for another five years. Clearly, we don't have these circumstances, yet, I believe we can learn and practice well and be happy in our dharmic circumstances. —Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo

How It Works

Enrollment for online classes is now open. All the classes are led by Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo but in the near future, we hope to have other teachers and presenters online as well at The Tsogyal Center.

Currently, there are six courses. They are of various lengths and formats but what they all have in common is that they will be offered with the intention to help you deepen your understanding of Vajrayana, cultivate your personal experience, on and off the cushion, and build meaningful sangha relationships.

Everything's online and accessible on any device with a good Internet connection. Formats include on-demand videos, meetings in-real-time via video conferencing, downloads, discussion groups and assignments

A limited number of 50% scholarships are available on application.
